[The Hwankyung Ilbo] Ministry of Environment announced that it will open an era of accumulated 200,000 future vehicles(electric cars and hydrogen cars) in 2020 with the supply of 84,150 electric vehicles and 10,280 hydrogen vehicles this year. 

By the end of last year, 113,000 future vehicles (including two-wheeled vehicles) were supplied, and a total of 94,430 vehicles are expected to be supplied this year. 

In particular, the Ministry of Environment plans to concentrate its efforts on distributing electric cargo vehicles, which are highly effective in improving fine dust, starting this year. 

As of November 2019, the number of registered cargo trucks was 3.6 million, accounting for only 15% of all cars, but fine dust emissions accounted for 56% of all car emissions. 

In addition, the Ministry of Environment will actively promote supply policies such as low-pollution automobile distribution target system, as well as policies for support of purchase subsidies and establishment of charging facilities.
